Resources for you
The social justice approach I follow provides a holistic coaching model that examines our complex realities and then taps into our resourcefulness in ways that can effect small (and sometimes big) changes-for-good internally and in the systems we experience. Each month we look at a different theme to explore together, and share thoughts and resources to help us stay grounded in purpose and intentional in our activism.
This Month’s Theme
Wellbeing and Community
#BurnoutPrevention #Wellbeing
As we work tirelessly to make an impact, I’ve found a few crucial things that allow me to do impactful work while making sure I stay healthy. When we commit to sustaining a culture of care and compassion within our communities, we build strong movements.

Grief belongs in our social movements. As violence across the world increases, many of us worry for family, loved ones, community members and those in our movements; we see the ways grief weighs heavy on us, affecting our connections, our work, our health. Yet, it is so rarely given space.
Last year, I wrote a piece ‘Reclaiming grief‘ that is still as relevant as ever. I dicuss different forms of grief, the ways I have been impacted by my own, how we can move away from isolation and rather actively respond to grief. I hope the piece holds you as it held me as I wrote it. »»»
Making Yourself a Priority
Shamillah Wilson’s powerful and compassionate guide for activists, change-makers, and anyone struggling to balance self-care with the demands of a world that often glorifies self-sacrifice.
Drawing from her own experiences and the wisdom of feminist thought, Shamillah challenges the notion that prioritising oneself is selfish. Instead, she frames it as a radical act of resilience and political defiance. Through practical exercises, reflective insight, and systemic analysis, this ebook offers a roadmap to realigning with your values, setting boundaries, and cultivating sustainable practices for wellbeing, because lasting change begins within.
“What would you bring into the world if you had full access to the resources you need?”
This question gave me pause, but my truest answer is simple: spaces where communities connect to their dreams – what they want to do, who they want to be – and support for one another in reaching those visions. I believe the resources we need go beyond money; they’re the power of community and shared conviction in uplifting each other.
What resources would you bring to the spaces you inhabit?

What you can expect working with me
I love what I do. I am passionate about unleashing the power and potential in myself and others.
My coaching, and leadership and organisational development, reflect my greatest passions – contributing to a just world and accompanying people on their journeys towards fulfilment. I draw on my own extensive experiences in social justice, leadership development, activism, social entrepreneurship, women’s rights and youth development.
I am curious about what it means to be in this world and how we can connect to a deep inner calling to live our lives with intention and achieve change, not only for the world but for ourselves. As I journey through life figuring this out, I am deeply guided by my politics of equity and justice, and my desire for personal joy, fulfilment and freedom. In other words, I believe we can have it all!
Working with me will help you achieve personal transformation, a new sense of wellbeing, and a plan to realise your goals.
